Safari open, share button, Add to Home Screen. Done. On iPhone 15 Pro the icon appeared in 12 seconds and the next launch opened full-screen.
Games loaded in 2-4 seconds on 5G. Live casino used more data, slots barely anything compared to video.
In Chrome the option sits under the three-dot menu. On a Samsung A54 install took under half a minute. No APK, no weird permissions, no 'unknown source' warning.
If the button is missing, the cause is usually an outdated browser or a non-HTTPS version of the page.
On iOS the install lives behind the Safari share sheet, not in any prompt. Open lyrabets.app, tap Share, scroll to Add to Home Screen and confirm. The icon appears immediately and the next launch opens full-screen without browser chrome.
On Android, Chrome surfaces an install banner the second visit. Accept it, or open the three-dot menu and choose Install App. Either path produces a launcher icon, not an APK file you have to sideload.
Across the four devices, one hour of slot play drew between 6 and 9 percent of battery, with the Pixel the most efficient and the older Galaxy the worst. Live casino doubled that, mostly because of the video stream rather than the cards themselves.
Data per session was modest for slots, around 40 to 70 MB an hour. Live tables crossed 220 MB. If you are tethered to a mobile plan, stick to slots away from Wi-Fi.

The only real difference: iPhone runs PWAs as standalone apps, Android sometimes shows a thin Chrome status bar. Functionally the same.
iOS Safari caps PWA storage at roughly 50 MB before prompting. Heavy slot caches push that ceiling inside a week; the symptom is splash screens that flash and reload mid-spin. Clearing site data resets the cache without a reinstall.
Android Chrome handles cache better but kills background WebSocket connections after ~5 minutes of screen-off. If a live round is open and you lock the phone, the session reconnects fresh - fine for slots, painful at the live tables.

There is no Play Store app and there is not going to be one. Google does not let real-money gambling brands publish in the EU store without a local licence. What LyraBet ships instead is a PWA, which is the site dressed up to behave like an app once you save it to the home screen.
On Android the install prompt usually appears in Chrome after you visit the site twice. If it doesn't, open the three-dot menu and tap Add to home screen. On iPhone it lives behind the Safari share sheet. Either way it takes a few seconds.
After three weeks on a Galaxy A54 and an iPhone 13, I kept opening the PWA instead of the browser. No repeated login, working push notifications, cold start under two seconds on both phones.
When the install prompt failed to appear, it was usually old Chrome or MIUI blocking the prompt on a Xiaomi phone. Updating Chrome fixed my test handset.
